The Harp of Bones English Medieval and Traditional Song

A programme of medieval and traditional English song -  as ancient as the faery hills - demonstrating concerns of life, love and death, that remain disturbingly contemporary. The repertoire draws on the 13th to 16th centuries, in addition to timeless ancient classics such as Tam Lin and The Harp of Bones.

Linking ancient song to contemporary traditional song, Joglaresa has a sound that is at once traditional and contemporary - drawing upon the traditions of their native British Isles.

Belinda Sykes - voice, bagpipes, director
Jeremy Avis - voice
Stuart Hall - fiddle, guitar
Jean Kelly - harp
